  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Birds were from three generations of an intercross between a Red Junglefowl male and three females from a White Leghorn selection line.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Birds were genotyped for 652 SNP markers and analyzed for red-brown plumage coloration. Targeted eQTL mapping was then carried out.
Analysis:Interval mapping and epistatic analyses were performed.
    Software:R/Qtl
