    Animals:Chickens originated from two lines divergently selected for ultimate pH of the pectoralis muscle.
     Breeds associated:
    n/a
    Design:Genomic signatures of selection and QTL for muscle pH were detected. Birds were genotyped using the Illumina ChickenSNP60 BeadChip. A total of 40,590 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:Signatures of selection were detected using the FLK and hapFLK methods. Multi-marker Bayes C(pi) analysis was used for QTL detection.
