    Animals:Animals were Standardbred yearlings.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using either the Illumina EquineSNP50 or EquineSNP70 chip, with data imputed to 670k data. Genotypes were analyzed for association with tarsal osteochondrosis. Variants in regions of interest were selected for further genotyping in both the discovery population and a validation population.
    Analysis:Genome-wide efficient mixed model analysis was performed.
