  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Samples were from several sources, including horses in active EHM outbreaks, horses that had survived previous outbreaks, and banked samples stored in the context of a previous outbreak or experimental infection.
     Breeds associated:
    n/a
Design:Samples were genotyped using the Illumina SNP50 or SNP70 arrays and GWAS was performed for development of neurologic disease in animals infected with EHV-1. A total of 37,064 SNPs were used for analysis.
Analysis:A mixed linear model was used.
    Software:GEMMA, Haploview 4.2, GCTA
