    Animals:Animals were Appaloosa horses.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using the GeneSeek 70K SNP array and analyzed for equine recurrent uveitis incidence. A total of 55,993 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:Efficient mixed model association expedited (EMMAX) and genomic efficient mixed model analysis approaches were used. A genomic best linear unbiased predictor analysis was used to test a multilocus hypothesis.
