  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
    Animals:Animals were Tennessee Walking Horses.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Animals were genotyped using the Illumina EquineSNP70 BeadChip and analyzed for skeletal size traits. A total of 39,262 SNPs were used for analysis. To refine and validate the results, a custom 115-SNP array was also used.
    Analysis:Mixed linear models were used.
Software:Golden Helix SVS 8, Haploview, PLINK, JMP
