    Animals:Animals were dairy cattle (Holstein Friesian, Jersey, and crossbred) in Bengaluru, India.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using either the Illumina Bovine 50K SNP BeadChip v2 or the Illumina Bovine 62K SNP BeadChip. After imputation to 62K, GWAS were performed for milk production traits. A total of 42,199 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:The average information restricted maximum likelihood (AIREML) algorithm was used.
