Design: | Animals were genotyped using the Illumina BovineHD BeadChip or Neogen Bovine GGP50 BeadChip (imputed to HD) and analyzed for heifer conception rate and number of times bred. A total of 633,444 SNPs were used for analysis. |
Analysis: | GWAS was performed using an efficient mixed-model association expedited approach with an identity-by-state kinship matrix (EMMAX-IBS). Additive, dominant, and recessive models were used. |
