    Animals:Animals were Brown Swiss bulls.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using the Ilumina BovineSNP50 (with data imputed to HD) or BovineHD BeadChip and analyzed for semen quality traits. A total of 607,511 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:Haplotype-based association testing was implemented using a sliding window-based approach and a linear model. Candidate SNPs were identified and genotyped.
