    Animals:Animals were Chinese Simmental cattle.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using the Illumina Bovine HD BeadChip and analyzed for carcass weight and bone weight. A total of 671,990 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:Three statistical models were used for GWAS: a fixed polygene model, a random polygene model, and a random polygene model using a composite interval mapping strategy.
