  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Animals were Braunvieh, Fleckvieh, and Holstein cattle.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Animals were genotyped using the Illumina BovineSNP50 or BovineHD BeadChip, with data imputed to sequence level, and analyzed for SNP association with milk fat and protein percentage.
Analysis:Association tests were carried out for each breed separately using a variance components-based approach. Meta-analysis of FP and PP across breeds was carried out using an inverse variance-based approach.
Software:SAMtools, Minimac, FImpute, Beagle, Eagle, PLINK, EMMAX
