    Animals:Animals were Holstein-Friesian cattle.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:A granddaughter design was used. Animals were genotyped for 215 microsatellite markers and analyzed for milk traits.
    Analysis:QTL mapping was performed using a non-parametric, sum of rank-based multipoint approach, and by multi-marker regression analysis.
